While working as a stylist and a creative director in India, i was lucky enough to get opportunities to work with Western publications. However, they all had a stereotypical understanding about the Indian fashion and culture. Unfortunately, it was not right. They wanted to capture the slums, less fortunate people and not developed areas. For me, it was a struggle to go ahead with the projects andI tried to send them counter proposals recommending new locations. They all ended up liking it better, but every client was new and thought similarly. i want to work towards changing the perceptions of my country as there is so much more to explore other than the negative representations. I’m planning to create a platform that will be interactive and portray India’s true culture as I have seen.

Attended a workshop at Apple Regents street to learn how to create imaginative videos with the illusion of teleporting, disappearing and other visual tricks. Using recording and editing techniques inspired by video-maker Zach King.

We shot 3 videos using the Clips app which shoots in square format which can be uploaded on Instagram.
